Dr. Myla’s Education
Dr. Myla first attended the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor where she earned her degree in biology. Dr. Myla continued to pursue her passion at the Ohio State University of Medicine. After receiving her Doctor of Medicine degree from Ohio State, Dr. Myla also completed her plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as her general surgery residencies at the university. Through hard work, dedication, and impressive professional and educational experience, Dr. Myla was admitted into the fellowship program at Ohio State University’s College of Medicine.
Dr. Myla’s Accomplishments
Dr. Myla’s background is not only in aesthetic enhancement, but also wound healing, burn treatment, tuberous breast deformity, and breast reconstruction. Some of the research projects Dr. Myla has been involved with include DNA and RNA extractions from various tissue samples in efforts to improve burn and wound healing.
Dr. Myla was honored with the Samuel L. Roessler Research Fellowship Award by Ohio State University, as well as many recognitions for her plastic and laparoscopic surgery excellence.

Dr. Myla is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, one of the 24 boards the make up the American Board of Medical Specialties.
