SculpSure vs. CoolSculpting

If you’re dealing with stubborn fat in your mid-section such as belly fat or love handles, SculpSure and CoolSculpting can help you get rid of it once and for all. In recent years, body contouring has become a popular way to sculpt the body without experiencing discomfort or downtime.

The two most popular, non-invasive procedures for body sculpting are SculpSure and CoolSculpting, so how do you know which one would be better for you? Board Certified Dr. Myla is the founder of Preserve your Pretty Skin and Body, and she believes that SculpSure is the most efficient procedure for contouring the body you’ve always wanted.

The Difference between SculpSure & CoolSculpting

SculpSure and CoolSculpting are similar in that they are both FDA-approved, non-invasive procedures that are intended to target specific problem areas. The main difference between these two procedures is that one “melts away” the fat while the other “freezes” it.

SculpSure treatments are delivered by laser systems that heat up the fat cells, melting them away to later leave the body naturally. CoolSculpting treatments on the other hand, use applicators that will suction the tissue into a vacuum cup, where it will then be chilled for about an hour. Below, we discuss why we believe SculpSure offers patients better results in a more efficient manner.

Targeting Multiple Treatment Areas with SculpSure

SculpSure allows for more than one area to be treated at a time. This makes the overall treatment process much quicker when treating multiple areas. With four different applicator heads, SculpSure can target up to four different problem areas per treatment.

How Long Does SculpSure Take?

While each CoolSculpting session takes about one hour, SculpSure sessions only take about 25 minutes to complete. This allows patients to return to their everyday activities faster with minimal disruption to their daily routine. SculpSure is so quick and easy that it can even be done on your lunch break!

To get the best results from both procedures, patients may want to receive more than one treatment. SculpSure delivers desired results in as little as one or two treatments while CoolSculpting could take anywhere from two to four treatments to see the best results.

Skin Improvements in SculpSure Treatment Areas

SculpSure offers the added benefit of improved skin in treatment areas, which is not the case with CoolSculpting. SculpSure encourages collagen and elastin production in the treatment areas allowing for healthy and youthful tissue growth.
